Should I buy a sub even though the status is still in maintenance?

I'm interessted to buy a Platinum Sub. But I'm still waiting for a game getting updated. The status is still in maintenance.

So I got a question:

For example i gonna buy a Platinum Sub for 1 month but not using it cuz the status is in maintenance. Does my days expire? Or can i buy without bad consciousness?
