Ping!!!

i was playing (legit) and my ping is at 401...most of the time and it fluctuates from 390-410

now, a few days ago my ping was about 150..where it normally is,

is there a way to get my ping lower? what causes my ping to be so high? and why has this only started happening?

cus its really annoying when im shhotin some1 for 10 seconds, and they dont die. :)

yes thats true.

Ping depends on ur ISP routing, when somthing changed on ur ISP routing ur PING gets low.


try this & flush ur DNS it iwll help ur to renew DNS & may lower PING if ur ISP uses bandwidth from 2 diffirent Bandwidth providers.


ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
exit

START > run > [type in] cmd > [you should get a black box appear] type in:

ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
exit

PS. Do not type ALL of the above in ONE line. Type ONE of the above in ONE line. ie.

Line 1: ipconfig /flushdns [PRESS ENTER]
->
Line 2: ipconfig /release [PRESS ENTER]
->
ipconfig /renew [PRESS ENTER]
->
now you can click the little X in the window to CLOSE the window like you close your internet explorer etc. or simply type in: exit

I have a program cFosSpeed and my ping was like 75-80 and now it is about 50-55 so it is a useful program,you could maybe try it,if someone knows any other program that lovers ping feel free to post

I just created a .bat program, instead of going into cmd all the time. :wink:

Thats a good one!!. Thats my problem also. My ping is always in 150-220. i Searched for a couple of months for the right answer and i got a different one. Some, says from my internet connection, some says from the modem or router, some says i might be using a wireless connection, some says i need to look for a server which is closer to my area. I tried all only one seems worked out fine. i tried playing in the server which is closer or within my state (california) and my ping stays below 100. and sometimes my ping is in 35-70 range. Which is fine with me.
Bro, why dont you try this also and who knows it might worked.
