there are programs for that, even online tools where you just need to upload a picture and you can scale them, etc.

just google for "userbars" or "userbar maker".

I made the third userbar you listed. It was done in photoshop. Can't say about the other ones, or userbar programs, that seems like the easy way out.

Ok, well I have made one now, and good job on the photoshop skills :D
