modern warfare 2 online playing

hi guys, when i try to play the multiplayer i cant find other players.

it search and search and search and search....

when i try to join it fails.

firwall : off
nat typ : open
ports : are open
antivirus : off

Start as Admin, didable DEP and UAC and restart your router (;

how can i run the game as admin? it wont work because off steam

Well, the games dead.

To run the game as admin - right click on the game and click 'create desktop shortcut'

Then right click on that and do run as admin. <3

then comes "steam is not running"

Reset your stats, it's most likely due to your kdr being way too high.

If you want to delete (reset) your stats try this:



1. Start Steam

2. Delete following files:

All *.stat Files in ....\Steam\SteamApps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2\players\

remotecache in ....\Steam\userdata\(some numbered folder)\(some numbered folder)\

Both files in ...\Steam\userdata\(some numbered folder)\(some numbered folder)\remote\

3. Start MW2 without restarting Steam !

4. Get some points (do a kill ?)

5. Exit normaly

Yes but you can use some unlockers to get them again ;)
