Hi there,
Thanks for looking at my Thread (not a lot people actually read my posts), I'm very pleased to see you all here.
Now to talk about this Give Away contest, a lot of people think that we from x22cheats do this to make money, you're wrong.
This is the first time that we actually do any kind of action/contest with a prize located outside x22cheats community (so not like free xpackage or whatever).
The idea is that you pay 3 euro to get into the contest and have a chance to get 150 euro worth of steam games, that is a 147 euro profit for you if you're the lucky one.
If you're not the lucky one you only lost 3 euro, is that so bad?
Nowadays there are a lot of lottery's in the world where you also bet to get that big prize with a small amount of money, this is kinda the same.
You might question yourself; Why didn't they just call it a lottery?
Well, my personal opinion is that a lottery should be repeated and have more than just one prize and since this is just one prize, I consider this a 147 euro GiveAway contest.
Also a important thing to note; we really don't care how much people participate in this contest, 10 people or 100 people, we really don't care.
It's about the idea to give someone a prize which (I guess) a lot of people want and make this person happy.
End conclusion;
It's not about making money, it's not a lottery, it's just a fun thing that we'd like to do and if it's a big success maybe repeat this kind of thing in the future.
