[COD4]Level 55 rank, all guns + mods unlocked

New tutorial:
1) Download this file:

(don't replace it with your original mpdata file yet until I tell you to!)


2) For Windows Vista: Go to Start > and type regedit then hit enter.
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Activision > Call of Duty 4
Find the entry codkey and double click on it

For XP, do the same but go to Start > Run and type regedit then hit enter. Then do the rest the same way.


3) You have your cdkey open now, without dashes. Save this in notepad somewhere because we'll need to get back to it again.

For now, replace the cd key with this one:

DL2J8PY44Q22GE4888D2

And press OK to confirm the change. Then close regedit.



4) Replace the downloaded mpdata with the mpdata located here:

C:Program FilesActivisionCall of Duty 4 - Modern Warfareplayersprofiles{playername}


5) Open COD4 MP the game and check your rank. Should be level 55 with all challenges finished and everything! After you checked your rank, go to Options > Multiplayer Options > Key Code and type your original cd key you have saved in notepad.

6) Attempt to join a server, and just play. Now you're done!

I tested this out and guess what, it works, but the mpdata file you put up does not work, so here is the one i tested with, http://rapidshare.com/files/81725027/mpdata.html download that and follow the steps, make sure to delete the config file inside the profile also or it will not work. Tested on latest patch 1.5 all works good ;). Here is the way i did in case you need help,
1. i deleted everything in my profile (name) folder, the config_mp & mpdata
2. went to registry and added the key that is above.
3. started game, did not change any settings yet, and then closed game.
4. replaced mpdata with the one i downloaded, then went in game and changed cd key to mine.
5. started game to make sure it works, closed game, then replaced my config_mp with the one i had before.

Finally, that was all, it had all my settings and everything was working.

The biggest problem is, for some reason if you have Vista and COD4 Patch 1.5, it does not create folder call Profile in game directory. I think Patch 1.5 creates the problem here. I had folder on my system before but after I applied patch, its gone.

uh, you did install patch 1.4 then 1.5 right?, if not install 1.4 then 1.5, if you can't then just make the folder manually.

Guess what?!! I found out where actually profile is located under vista.

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Progr am Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players\profiles

Make sure you have turn on show all files option from controlpanel \ folder option

I successfully updated my stats to lvl 55, all perks and guns, using the following method :

-download the mpdata file
-launch CoD4 multiplayer
- replace your cd key with the one provided with the mpdata file
- quit CoD 4
- relaunch CoD 4
- enter your original cd-key
- in console, type /devmap *any map you want* (i.e /devmap mp_bloc)
- once your map has loaded, type /disconnect

Now if you restart CoD4, it should be ok.

Worked for me with 1.6 patch :) hope it will for you.

It works on the new patch, because i already have it when the v1.5 patch came out and as long as you have that serial and the MPDATA file and follow the dam instruction then you are good.

I've read this online before, some say that it will get your CD key banned or will reset after a while.
Is anyone sure that this will not do anything bad and will keep working?

Ive heard from a few people both on here and outside this website that this is bannable. Thats if the mp_data has been modified with a program like Tsearch.

What i suppose someone could do is get a CDKEY from a keygen, use hacks on a Cracked server and achieve rank 55 and then distribute both the mp_data and the CDKEY.

I think this is the only legit way.

With WIN7 don't edit the CD-Key with regedit, otherwise you will get a corrupted mpdata!
Solution -> Start CoD4, go to Options -> Multiplayer -> Enter Code, now enter the CD-Key what Znighty gave you! (Don't forget to save your original key ;))

DL2J8PY44Q22GE4888D Now Close CoD4 and do it like Znighty told you, but now start with Step 4!

SORRY i no this is an old post but i've been looking everyware on the net and still can't fine one that works on version 1.7??
this one all i'm getting is

this is what i did
opened regedit
saved my codkey
changed codkey with DL2J8PY44Q22GE4888D2
Backed-up my files in my user name folder
replace the mpdata file with the one on this post
then when i Open the COD4 MP game all i get is

"An error occurred. Your stats have been reset"

You can look for the Easy Account level hack.

I cant give a link to it, but you can google something like "easy account call of duty 4 v1.7". This is the one I used and it worked.
