.. Valve updates to a new Anti-Cheat System and xInstant Hook V2 won't work + would be detected.
So X22 has to bring out a new one which will be named xInstant Hook v3 (for example).
Assumed I bought the Lifetime abo for xInstant Hook V2, do I have to pay for V3 again or do I get this as an Update for free?
Very important pre sale question in my opinion...

They are very clever when it comes to updates. If they feel the hack is at risk, they disable it, finish the updates and re-enable the hack. Updating the hack is free for users who already have subscriptions.

Thanks for the answers above!
I'm looking for the answer for the "worst case szenario".
That means Valve brings out VAC3 and the Hook has to be recoded so it has a totally "different" sourcecode than before.
I know some places where you have to pay extra money, if the hack has to be totally recoded even if you bought lifetime.
Hope to get some answers from X22, but anyone else is also welcomed to answer this question.

Even if you bought a 3 months subscription and the update happened within those 3 months, you still don't have to pay for any updates. They disable the hack for a short amount of time (so nobody is at risk) and then when the hack is updated and enabled again, all users of that hack will be notified on the forum.

He didn't say there was an update, he is just asking what would happen if there was an update.

If VAC were to update its software to a whole new version, then it would have to do a lot of updates to all games that support VAC. This does not mean the cheats will be detected, that just means that VAC will use new methods of detecting cheats. If in a case the cheat does get detected, we will turn it off, and update the build version. The whole cheat source code will not be updated, because making it undetected would be faster. The cheat version will be updated, if a client is done. So, to make it undetected again, then just a new build version will be released. You would have to repay for a whole new cheat redesign let's say "xInstantHook v3.0" or the client version. This is only because it is not the same cheat. But you will not pay for cheat updates to the current cheat design "xInstantHook v2.0".

I hope xInstantHook v3.0 will never come out ;-)

The framework i made for xInstantHook v2.0 is good and doesn't need to be recoded. So no xInstantHook v3.0 is planned for the moment :)!
flux, if valve does a big update like vac3, then we will need to test the cheat and see what vac3 really does. Any updates are free.
