Still the same game engine, all they've done is use specular map to make it look shiney. It's still gonna be the same garbage that they've been releasing for the past 3 years. However that said, the game play does look quite similar to CoD4, i mean we can hope that they make it like cod4 rather than mw2 but still BF3 is going to sh1t all over this.

They're making it a sequel to cod4, it also uses the same player models as cod4, so therefore I'd kinda guess that it's gonna be similar to cod4. having different shades of strawberry jam splatted on your screen doesn't make the game different.
