PAYPAL - A problem occured, the transaction could not be completed!

Pay pal never rejected my card, nor does it have a limit to reject. I tried paying twice, get the confirmation email, then when i click the link i get the following error message:


A problem occured, the transaction could not be completed!
This may have happened due to a temporary connection problem.

Severity: Error
Error code: 10417
Reason: Transaction cannot complete.
Additional: The transaction cannot complete successfully. Instruct the customer to use an alternative payment method.

Return to the forum. :O


Now i know this has nothing to do with pay pal or my CC linked to the account. I tried paying twice with no luck, and don't use any of the alternate methods listed. Please help. :D

I think it may have something to do with my IP and physical address being in different countries since in fact I'm on vacation. Is there any way you can help ?8-)

Why doesn't pay pal work? Pay safe only has outlets in EU countries which I'm no where near. Isn't there a way for this pay pal transaction to go through, or do i have to wait until I'm back home ? :<

Well surely it'd be better for you to wait until your home anyway? I mean what's the point in buying it whilst you're abroad? it's not like you're going to use it...But by all means go for it and do what x22 said, use C&B :)
