HW ID reset in case of new hdd?

step 1.
I have 4 hdd and 1 ssd (win 7)
Gonna change a hdd that has no BF3 or xclient for a new one
will it affect on hwid?

and step 2.
i wish to install the second video card for physics only
actually it is installed in motherboard now but has no power connection
hwid?

1. depends on wether the xclient and operating system is installed on it. if yes, you have to request a reset.

2. maybe, but the request will be free.
small hint: it's absolutely waste of money and energy to purchase a physics card.
only a handful of games support it.
