been enjoying the campaign and ops, haven't gotten online yet. Some of my pals have been saying its very similar to MW2.

Graphics are pure bullshit compared to BF3 (even bf3 solo story is much more interesting).

MW3 is very similar to MW2... not the same (in my opinion). this wasnt unexpected because:
a.) why try to create a whole new game if the last one was such suxcesfull? take the good parts and make a sequel!
b.) ITS A GODDAMNIT! Sequel..... what were u expecting?! (c other sequel games.... (WoW...allways same shit) BF (yeah nice lightefects) CS->css (yeah nice new grafics....)
c.) if u dont like mw2/mw3 dont buy it, u dont have 2... if u think mw3 is only an expencive DLC 4 mw2... then go and play mw2 =D

even dice, developers of the BF series never claimed to invent a REALISTIC game, it just has to be AUTHENTIC. no game is really realistic, otherwise the game would be no fun.
Most classes would be useless or imbalanced:

-medic cant revive or repair broken limbs/ripped-off limbs
-engineer cant repair a burning tank with a blowtorch
-when you reload, all ammunition in a half-emptied clip is gone
-support can carry around unlimited ammo, a mortar and a heavy MG
-sniper nearly impossible to spot
-no respawn at all
-try to sprint for such a long time with full equipment

these are just a few examples to give an example.
If you want realism, play Operation Flashpoint (the OLD one), Armed Assault, ...
Those games are tagged as simulation and sometimes tactic shooter.

I think its good, Yes it looks a bit like MW2 but it is time for a new COD, MW2 is outdated and too much nubs and overpowered weapons. Now it is better graphics (little at least) new maps new fun campaign and new game modes, killstreaks and perks. And Black Ops is not that popular. I think it is worth to spend money on but it is just my opinion.

Infinity Ward Have completley stripped the old zlib headers away from the ff files
(mw2 was simple zlib compression and was easy to decompile/recode/recompress)
they have also updated there dvar whitelist and thats why the xex files have been stripped down completley of most of the fun dvars
alltho saying that there are a few referneces to dev cmds

thers a lot of ppl i know researching right now the new compression algorithm of the fast files who knows in time we may see mods but it might turn out to be the same scenario as blackops where ff mods have never and will never happen

mw2 was easy to mod
mw3 isnt as easy but in time who knows what will happen
for now its basic xex mods (no offense to the op)
and savegame mods as they dont seem to have secured there svg files as tight as the rest of the game

and for all the ppl out there hoping for tenth lobbies...ITS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!

No there is no server browser. It is lobby system. AGAIN

All servers are unranked though, so no leveling etc ;)
