Recording software?

Hey guys do you know a recording software that is better then fraps for 1080p videos?

With the new playclaw version you can set manual resolutions. I can also recommend dxtory, but both of them cost money. You dont get cracks for them

Ehm, the resolution is dependent on your ingame resolution !

If you play and record with 1920x1080 you will get 1080p !

Well thats how it is ! You need a better cpu/gpu then !

Also make sure you save your fraps recording to the same HDD as your game !

(If i record with my other HDD i get 50% framedrop )

I havent found a trustable source for a dxtory crack. I like both recording software. dxtory has some nice features, but the new playclaw version seems to be really nice. Its has some awesome ingame overlay to change settings

Fraps sure can record in 720p. Have fullsize and 30 Frames per second and it will work out fine, but then it record 1080p maybe.. you can test.

Fraps is in my eyes not really multicore optimized and fraps always limits your fps which kind of sucks

i think the main reason why playclaw is good is because you can set how much cores you want it to use while recording
and thats great

I prefer Gregion 3.1 (freeware) since the performance is just awesome + directly encoding the video = less space but i guess it isn't what you're looking for if you want high end video material.

yes i agree on that because most people probably just get the program install it and run with out even checking if you can change those settings.
but its possible that they will fix that on a update sooner or later.

when i want to use Playclaw for MW3 i only get a black screen but when i push my Hotkey it's recording but i can't join a game (because of a black screen) maybe it's may settings? and also i have to register the PlayClaw if i don't do it ill get Unregisterd Playclaw record moving in my Video??

Try the playclaw 3 beta in the forum. Btw, you will need to buy playclaw to remove the watermark
