Prerequisites? Requester not working.

When I load the requester, i get the message 'This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem'

I've googled for, downloaded and installed this (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=9b2da534-3e03-4391-8a4d-074b9f2bc1bf&displaylang=en) without any luck. Any ideas? I'm running windows xp sp3 x86.

Download the c++ 2005 redistribution, see if that makes a difference.

Nothing. Same again.
All microsoft and windows updates are installed and working.

I tried all of the x86 redist packages. In the end i located the bloody .dll's myself and copied them into the requester directory :P
