I know that the Mw3 Cheat is not detected. But i just want to know if vac notice the little secret..... :p

Will i get than an ban for my mw3 account or for my whole steam account ?

I really dont know how steam handle such things :P

The ban will only reflect that of your MW3 game, and will show on your steam profile as having previous VAC bans (to name shame you basically). Nothing else on your Steam account gets affected.

No, they are banning on engines. so if you get VAC banned in CSS you get banned on all source games etc.

What if you get banned by ban candy on MW3? Do you lose access to your other games on your steam account? I also was wonderin on what basis does ban candy ban on? Ive seen alot of killstreak hackers lately, and was wondering really if ban candy is effective at all.

Its not the same engine, so you dont get banned.

They are banning on engine ONLY for Source Engine and Gold Src (HL2 and HL1).
For the rest of games it is only one game ban.

As far as BurtonJ said on steam forums, they are only banning specific games. I don't know if this means they are still banning by Source or GoldSRC but he's a liar if they are banning by Source and GoldSRC

They stopped doing engine based bans like 1 year ago...So a CSS ban results in a CSS ban instead of a whole Orangebox ban now.

Since when ? Last time I got banned in CSS (around november or december of 2011) I was also vac banned for tf2 ..

Cheating in a Source Engine game that was released prior to Left 4 Dead will result in a VAC ban from Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, Day of Defeat: Source, and Team Fortress 2.
Cheating in a Gold Source engine game will result in a VAC ban from Counter-Strike, Condition Zero, Ricochet, Day of Defeat, Team Fortress Classic, Half-Life: Deathmatch, and Deathmatch Classic
