So yeah, got bored, decided I wanted to do some photo editing so I thought id just touch up a BF3 screenshot.

Original:

HDR Edit 1 (I'll admit, the sky needs a bit of color correction, but it turned out good for a quick 10 minutes work):

HDR Edit 2 (improved the detail subtly, laid off the tone mapping on this one, so no super high contrast/saturation etc):

Which one is best?

bad colours

Elaborate... your post is worthy of being marked as spam. I could reduce the saturation, but tell me what colours you'd recommend, such as cold/warm etc.

Try getting the same as the bottom pic with just color and contrast. You will notice a huge difference between that and your end product if you tried that :P

HDR rendering gets copies of the picture with different exposures, in this case 7 copies from -3 EXP to +3 EXP, and I use a piece of software which combines them with each other, getting the "best" pixels from each and recompiles into one image, allowing you to freely adjust detail levels, light levels and much more. It also gives it that "real life" feel to it. It's quite impressive imo :)

Thank-You

This. It quite literally looks like you opened it in photoshop and bumped up the contrast bar sorry :/

Updated main post with a second edit and added links to full-size 1080p versions.

I like the second edit the most.

I don't like the first edit at all.

I think the second is better as the first. But I also prefer the original.
