Hi guys,
I am soon(hopefully) going to upgrade my CPU & get a LCD Moniter.
So i want to know that does the game resolution depends upon graphic card or Moniter size?
thx in advance

Combination of the two, most commonly limited by the monitor.
assuming you haven't enabled BigText, you can just right click on the desktop, (vista+)click screen resolution (XP)click properties, settings.
It'll show you what resolution you're currently running at, and so the one the game would run at, if configured.
Graphics cards normally have VERY high resolution limits, that most monitors don't support.
When buying a gfx card or monitor though, it will have it's resolution maxes on the box / details, so you can check first.

Just to ask you, do you plan to buy it because off gaming or just for watching films, surfing and things like that? Because i have at home a samsung monitor 22"(on which i play games) and one one my father comp that is i think 26" and i can say in gaming especially in fps games bigger is not always better because you can't see all the details in the angles so fast because your eye needs to cover bigger surface. That is my opinion and yeah watch for the tests of graphics card because some of them work better in big resolutions like ATI Radeon 4870 or 4870x2 and you can get more out off it.

Yeah that sound good. This nvidia 260/280 are better in lower resolution then ATI on 20" monitor. So you should be good to go and enjoy a bunch off fps.
