BF3 Soldier transfer

Is it possible to transfer your soldier in bf3 i know it worked at bfbc2 just with the livesupport from ea
but when i ask for a soldier transfer for bf3 they just say ...call this number and there will be a special team that handles all the soldier transfers
now i just want to know if someone ever did it in bf3 only with the livesupport
