Soo what do you guys think? You reckon there will be a Portal 3? Portal 2 surely was a success and it left a few possibilities open for a descendant. Personally I would love to see this game again, I simply can't stand those puzzles. It's an awesome game :x

GlaDOS. <3
I loved that game. Seriously. If P3 would be half as good as P2, it would be game of the year. But I won't think it will rbe even announced too soon. VALVe isn't Activision, y'know?

As far as I know, Portal 2 wasn't planned either, but it was made purely because the community wanted it. The storyline seems quite done in Portal 2, but who knows - it could just be a manipulation from Glados ;)

Seriously, VALVes creative heads are quite some f*cked up dudes. Even if they let the whole facility melt down in a nuclear explosion, I bet they'd get it done again so the community can test at Aperture Science!. And of course, humour and puzzles are more important than the story, which is nothing more but a red thread to make continous testing feasible. :)
And on topic community: That's why we love VALVe, right? ;)

I like portal, it is an interesting and different game compared to what i typically play, so i'm down for another. Personally i rather have a mirrors edge 2 game come out first, parkour ftw.

Mirrors Edge was a cool game, but I prefer Portal. It would be great so see Portal3, but hopefully it's not the same like HL3. ^^

On your side for this one. Mirrors Edge provided a totally different gameplay experience, especially since when in control of a gun you have no HUD, crosshair, etc. - totally more realistic imo.
I'm still surprised Valve integrated Portal into the Half-Life storyline; which in turn makes some serious debate regarding where they're going to go (and also what's coming next - portal 3 or half-life 3).
I'd say I'm interested, but I think it would've been better if they kept them separate; you're limiting opportunities otherwise. Portal 2 could've been something completely different. ;)
