wel i reformatted my pc installing mw3 again if it aint working im going to try this

The full fix is, move or rename these files:
42695.sdm
iw_25.iwd
iw_26.iwd
localized_xxxx_iw06.iwd
localized_xxxx_iw07.iwd

Fill in "xxxx" with your game language. Mine is english.

I was able to join 6 different non-DLC hosts consecutively without getting the files different error.

Now, start the game, and play with non-DLC people. You will no longer get the "Files different" error.

If the server rejects the connection, its most likely an issue on their side.

ye and i called my inter provider he added all ports world wide and i stil have the same issue he said it could be steam. because battlefield 3 is working fine etc

i think it isnt i wil try to buy a new mw3 key with a new steam tomorow once i have my money on it but on my other account i got banned then it says at vac status you banned at some server call of duty mw3 on my new steam its all good the vac status and stil have it but my vac status of mw3 isnt banned

Hell, even the message states the Account Logon Denied - could be a local server blacklist with geolookup or smth - I dunno, since I don't play them at all. :D

Dude, a ban by bancandy (manual ban) is not related to VAC. It wont show up on steam of course since a cheat was never detected. It would be a ban based on reports
