Hey guys I got a problem with my HL.

I downloaded it from Steam and I want to start, but it wont really start?! When I want to start it, it opens, I can see the background of the mainmenu, but it instantly closes again without any error report or something like that!

Got the same problem with TFC, but all the other games like CS 1.6, CZ, HLS are working :(

clean your set lauch options on steam and try it again...

hmm, delete the cfg folder, try to start without startparameters, do u have the latest video drivers? You could try an older one. And if u r bored at all redownload the game and see if it works.

edit: put you display referesh frequenzy on 60hz, 65hz, 70hz or 75hz and try if it works, i had the same problem under xp on time, i just needed to put it on 60Hz and i was fine.

i can only choose 60hz at 1600x1200 so i cant change anything there
