Every time i turn on my computer steam keeps updating? Even after its finished, the next time i boot it up its still downloading.

im not sure what the problem might be

try to uninstall steam and reinstall
if you still got issues i suggest you go to the steam support or forums and ask there

If you have problem with updates game:
Steam>Library>Right clik on your game>Properties>updates>Do not update this game automatically>ok

or if you have problem with client steam try this:

.Folder steam>Delete all files but do not delete ''Steam Client Bootstrapper'' and other folders.
After delete files run ''Steam Client Bootstrapper'' and you will begin to download files.
Important: You have steam closed when you do it.
