The Crysis 3 cheat wasn't ever detected and the BF3 cheat is secure at the moment.
Last detection was end of January or at the beginning of February.

Crysis 3 won't ever be detected until they add an anti-cheat. As for BF3, yes you would get banned if the cheat was to be detected.
