- Fixed an exploit that allowed players to access certain console dvars during multi-player matches.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when a Chinatown Sabotage match would go into over-time.
- Fixed a bug where the MP icons (Bomb, Defend, Capture, etc) were always showing up as English regardless of the install language.


NOTE: You need to have v1.6 patch installed prior to v1.7 or you will be missing the new maps and other changes.

As many of you are aware, Nvidia did a 24 hour prelease to the sli email club thing. Well, I have downloaded and re-uploaded the maps to our file servers so you guy may begin downloading the patch now!

This readme file contains all the information you need to get Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Patch 1.6 installed and set up on your computer and troubleshoot the latest issues that may arise during installation and setup.

mhhm, that wouldn't be so bad. I would liek CoD Series to make a Vietnam War based game.

Also all patches from v1.3 - v1.5 are giving problems to ppl's servers, for them not being listed in the master server list. They should try and fix this.

yep i think so too so many people play it lol..... ETQW yea does have quite allot of people playing it but it isn't as good as they said it was.... In my eyes i would pick Cod4 anyday.... the game OWNS hehe....

It is undetected as long as no one leaks it or as long as pb does not get a hold of it. And if it gets detected it will be updated fast.

Ya I agree they should stick to the "modern" era instead of going back to ww2. I love the current guns with the red dot sight. You wouldn't have that in ww2 =\

I like them both, but i prefer WW2. I like the 88mm flak gun that the Germans made, along with the Tiger Tank. Will never see a War like that again. Today's War is a press of a button and that is shit in my opnion. Should be a man to man combat. Just my opinion. :smile:

Post Update for Patch 1.7

I just downloaded an installed it
Only a few servers have it installed
Have to wait for the rest to becoem updated with this hack
Out of like 15 of my Favorite servers, only 1 YES ONE worked and have this update installed
A few more days and they will all be updated as it spreads around

Seems that this update lowered my fps, i'm experiencing low fps, like 5-10 fps less than before the patch.

The only time i get low fps, is on a free for all server, and a map like shipment; with like 30 something people on it. :cool:

Is that blue screen crash in there somewhere? ive gone back to COD4. For some reason I find it more enjoyable. Even though Im trying to get headshots with the MP44. What a crap weapon that is.
