VAC safe or not?

sry for my bad english, im german ;)
i want to buy the xradar for mw2. The most time i will play on fourdeltaone but sometimes i will play on steam version too.
now my questions are!
Is it safe on both versions? Is it often detected by VAC?
I know there is always a risk getting banned ...
but when i buy the hack for 1 year and one day later im VAC banned ... :S

x22 is currently safe to use on VAC games.
but it has been detected a few times last couple of months (october - few days ago)
But I think it's fixed for a long time now.

Definitely not. They managed to detect our cheats once in their lifetime.
