After being banned from cod4 cos of the cheat being detected im considering moving to CSS.

How does VAC2 work? Do they do silent scans like punkbuster? Do they update regular? IF VAC2 update then how long is it until x22 updates the hack?

I don't want to buy it for one month to test it, I just want peoples opinions on the cheat. Is it worth it?

How does the cheat work with aequitas?

I just want to know as much as possible about vac and how they work.

Those public hacks work for 30 days or more with no detection cos of the following.. (copyed from the link you gave)

Delayed bans (see below) means that cheaters are free to disrupt other players until their ban takes effect.

I will make a topic in customer section so the "public" can't see it.

x22 will never be detected by VAC2...
VAC2 is AC crap. Updates come every 1-3 weeks.

x22 updates xinstanthook every 1 - 2 months.

AEQ: The Cheat bypasses AEQ and if you do everything like it's said in the ReadMe, you don't have to worry about AEQ, too ;)

Nope, there is no XAC support for CSS yet, but it's planned ;)

They have there own anti-cheat, it's almost same as Xray I think.
