A few anti-vehicle tips:

- Enemy vehicles do not get a missile lock indicator unless you actually scope in and try to get a lock. This is different from how BF2/2142 handles it if you are familiar with those games. In other words, if you are at close range or feel confident you can hit your target without a lock then fire unscoped. They will have zero warning before they get hit.

- You can fire rockets around corners/obstacles to some extent. After you acquire lock, move your crosshairs off your target and the lock will still hold. Use this technique to curve rockets over hills and around corners.

- If you are wondering why you can't seem to lock onto enemy helis sometimes, they have a stealth mode they can use which prevents missile locks. The flipside to this is they can't fire any of their weapons while in stealth. Wait for them to switch out of stealth then let them have it.

- Try to be unpredictable with your timing when locking onto targets and firing rockets. If you always fire as soon as you get lock it's easy to counter with flares. If you always wait 5 or 6 seconds to try to get your enemy to flare first, they will recognize this and just hold off on the flares. Mix up your timing and it becomes a guessing game for your opponent as they try to counter with flares.

Only the Western Coalition Helicopter can cloak.

Going off that I'll give tips for the Western Coalition Helicopter and APC.

WC Helicopter:

You can cloak by pressing the middle mouse button. A good maneuver to do when you get locked on is to use your flares and then cloak. This breaks the missile that was fired and also breaks anyone else locked on to you.

WC APC:
The secondary gunner seat can shoot down enemy missiles. Any missile in you grid will light up in a triangle, once there you can use your secondary fire (right-click) to shoot down the missile before it hits you. Missiles that can be shot down include: APC missiles, Anti-Tank rockets, Sentry Drone rockets, Helicopter missiles. You cannot shoot down tank shells or the APC's primary gun fire.

I have turned my mouse sensitivity down slightly to play this game. I get less "jumpy" crosshairs and can actually hit things.

More Tips:

-Fix the mini-map location - keeps it from rotation and allows you to communicate an react to compass directions.

-Don't fire from your Squad Leaders location - this just gives his position away and gets him killed!

-Since there is no way to know who on your team/squad has what role or kit, communicate your role/kit to your squad when your in one and try to stick with it. SL's try to ask for the roles from all Squad Members (SM's).

-At close range you probably not be able to kill an opponent with your primary weapon. Use Melee! Bind the Melee key to your mouse or another quick action key to get to it quick!

-Firing when prone and waiting for your cross-hairs to settle (get closer together) will dramatically improve your aim - Also fire your machine guns in BURSTS, especially for long range.

setup an emp stick and grab a 120mm tank and you have safe zone from airstrikes and drones. I used this the last two days with great results. I now have the time to sit still and do some long range bombardment. if you have friendly personal around to help out with choppers you are damn near unstoppable

This is really a great game hope more people play whith it
Playing just whith an xradar is seriously an intensive game

If you guys got tips stuff what u want for enhance this game plz feel free to post it !

Nice man. Does this game have a rank system like Battlefield?

FallenMorgan, while the game does not utilise ranking to constrain players, ranking will be available through third-party Leaderboards.

This gives you the ability to check your rank and statistics, while experiencing the game the way everyone else experiences it. This means no global constraints, like unlocks.

The benefits are numerous. No conditions on requirements to host servers. Meaning that, administrators can configure their servers any way their community wants, load any server-side Mod they please, install any client supported Mod they like, run a competitive ladder any way they choose.

This is furtile ground for a diverse range of experiences for all players, including and adding to, the vanila game experience.

BF2 and BF2142 only have the vanilla game experience, and administrators have to obey VERY tight conditions for hosting servers.

To be honest, it is likely that at least one Leaderboard will provide superior statistical ranking than the BF2 or BF2142 environment. Its just that FFOW won't use stats to constrain and modify player interactions and experience.
And s?riously the game is really better like that

I would start by the community providing tips everyday to help out other players and reveal secret locations etc.

Heres mine:

The secondary fire key of the grenade launcher allows you to bounce the projectile around corners.

A lot of guys seem to like driving around in tanks. That's nice. They move at a nice clip, they're not too bad with maneuverability, and they can take a decent amount of punishment. However, I have a few points.

(a) When tooling around the countryside in a tank, keep the frakking thing either...

behind cover (like buildings, oil tanks, etc.), or
constantly moving!
I know this should be painfully obvious, but it's astonishing how many noobs in armor get all blown up (wasting a perfectly good tank) because they want to slug it out with another tank/AT guys/APC. The guy with cover and/or on the move will always win.

(b) Also, when facing helos or AT guys, don't forget your flares. About half the tank drivers I've seen out there neglect to deploy flares when fired on, and it only takes a couple of missiles to blow you away.

(c) If you're going to be a tanker, pick "Support" role! While you're moving around, your tank is constantly being repaired.

(d) Don't forget to give your brothers-in-arms a lift if you get a chance! It's nice to have someone watching your back on the second machine gun.

(e) One thing ive seen about drones is that if you hear them...DONT ignore them!! people will see my recon drones and think its harmless or something then they just get blown up. all drones are dangerous when you are not in a vehicle. also have seen tanks ignore redstar C4 cars

(f) Watch for those emp probes. you can see the emp bursts coming out of it every few seconds

(g) watch how much ammo you have in your clip so you arent out of ammo in the middle of a fight
