How To: Enable a speedhack in some games

Hey guys, I was just looking around and fiddling with stuff, when I came across this program called Cheat Engine. You have probably heard of it. Here's a link to a direct download: http://cheatengine.org/downloads/CheatEngine54.exe

Don't worry, it isn't a virus.

After you install it, run a game, alt+tab out then run CE (Cheat Engine). In the top left of CE there is a icon like a computer. Click it. Scroll down the list to your game's exe file. Select it and hit ok. On the right side of CE, there is a tick-box with 'enable speedhack' written next to it. Tick the box, then change the number in the 'speed' box to whichever number you want to speed up to.
EG: Set to 2, the game is twice as fast as normal, set to 3, the game is 3 times as fast etc.
Click set speed. Don't change the sleeptime box, I have no idea what it does. Go back into your game and it should play in fast-forward.

This method does NOT work for some games like COD4. Probably doesn't work for TF2 or CS:S, I can't test that at the moment.

On some single-player games this works perfectly. This also works like a charm on World Of Warcraft. Times you spend running from place to place are drastically reduced.

I once turned on a OC feature on my 965P-DS3 mobo, let's say if it overclocked up to 1.5x on the frontsidebus, I would be able to run at the same speed in Halo, but only works when I'm host, but ppl were still going wtf!

Actually there is a current bug with AMD CPU's, when overclocking your CPU you also increase game speed, which would cause you to have increased speed.

Ocasionally happens when people don't use the AMD optimizer.

there are also some tools which just speed your pc up, those files have been common used to speed up the Delta Force game series. also speeds up your pc clock etc, guys might try that too.
