How does this work?

Well, not exactly the cheats, but i want to do this.
I want to run one steam account through sandboxie and run my main on my regular computer, then i want to cheat on the sandboxie account to boost my main. If i get caught will i get VAC banned??

Sandbox allocates for disk, not for memory which is where VAC looks, so you won't be achieving anything i would think.
