There's no detection at all, since the game does not have an Anti-Cheat.

smite = punkbuster anticheat
cheat engine = 30 second later its autobanned perma on your account for cheating
when smite was new game many cheats on public forums were around, people got banned all the time. yes smite have anticheat, you can send email to ask them support if you dont believe me, i have ask if they remove my ban becuase i accidently left cheat engine open from age of empire singleplayer and they say no - punkbuster automatic

Source?
'cause I played some days ago, no ban.
And I don't think that PunkBuster is included in Smite.

Smite does not have an anti-cheat. Detecting cheatengine is not really considered an anti-cheat...

I'm pretty sure I cant mention the other providers that got hit as I said above, but they weren't cheat engine cheats, perhaps a targeted detection for both of them (one was one week/two weeks ago, the other around 2 months ago).

We don't care about other providers and what they do. Maybe they used public sources, etc. Sure Smite devs can detect easy things, but our cheat is unique for each customer and it randomizes on each run. Anyway, point being we can't speak for what other people do, but it would require a "real" anti-cheat to actually detect us (scanning memory, etc).

You do know we actually reverse the game right? You can believe whatever you want, but what we say is fact.
