you can't see the private section yet because you are just a registered user not a customer. When registering did you activate your account with the link provided in the email that was sent to you?

if it's your first time buying (or your bank account isnt verified) with paypal they will get their money from your bank account first and put your payment on pending.

log into your paypal and check what it says under 'status' for that transaction.
