On the full release, when prices drop, the population will sky rocket. Project Reality has 1-3 K players ( Squad does everything PR did but better ) 5K 24 hr peak Insurgency, and Arma has 42k 24HR peak. Most people are waiting for vehicles to release + for the full release ( bug fixes ) + Prices to drop. I wanna play this game so bad but 40$ for the amount of content is NOT worth it at ALL. Something like 25$ and 15$ on sale is very reasonable. I wish I could play Arma but my GTX 770 can't do it;

I own the game and I know that it's a spiritual successor to PR. Still, the dev said the regular price will be 50-60$ once the game's fully finished, it won't drop.
