You currently cant get banned by VAC. It's disabled during the Stage 2 Beta. Only thing they can ban you is that some 1 copy your steam URL, have a Video or Screenshots from your Cheat. They will send this to the Devs and they May ban the Account. But the Chance is very low. And yes Damage multipler works fine

i got a 100+ win streak with no bans so its undetected, however i don't play on my main account in case the devs decide to manually ban me so don't do it either.

I don't think the Devs really care about Cheaters atm. I know some Guys who play with rage settings all Day since instanthook release and dont got banned yet. But i agree with CORE-T just be safe if you cheat on your main.
