If i get banned (VAC/OW) only the account which is being used in this time + all linked (telephone number) are banned right?

Not other unrelated Accounts which were used on this computer right?

Yes, that is right. If other accounts are linked with the same number they will get banned too, at least that happened to me. And other accounts will not get banned.

As far as i know phone nr + email are affected. If u create same acc with same emal or phone number ur second acc gets banned too

E-Mails are not affected. I had 7 accounts, one got ow (on purpose) and all other acc's are still good to use.

yes if u google u can unlink ur steam acc from ur number but i think it will be blacklisted so re-link the number will cause a ban on your new acc

Okay, thanks. I guess my real question was if unlinking phone will even help. I want to keep phone number attached to my main, but if I unlink the alt now (after already having used x22 on an alt with the same number) will my main still get banned?


All in all I won't be too upset if my main gets banned anyway.

there is some cooldown period.. but I guess if you attach new phone number you lost all traces and your accounts are not linked 2gather.. I can check it tomorrow just I am kinda tired yet doing it in middle of night

this tells me the number will be saved in steam DB even after unlink the number...

be sure ur old acc dont get banned after last time play -> unlink phone number -> link to main acc -> dont touch ur old acc agan -> seems to be the safes way

The phone number on an account that receives a ban will be suspended for three months and cannot be applied to another account during that time.
U have 3 months of suspension! And i already receive a OW ban because of RAGE on a Prime account and after 4/5 months i used the same number and dont receive a ban (yet) xD
