VPN haven't any effect for using cheats.. just you can't purchase with it since your payment most likely not went through and you get PayPal Error 10846

i don't think glasswire would be a issue since its a firewall but then again i used it years ago mostly just for testing however they might have added more features since that time
so as long as it doesn't sniff like 0x33c mentioned aboive it should be fine

Winscp is just an sftp/ftp client and putty is an ssh connection terminal where is the network analyzing part at this tools?
