I'm sure it will be supported, it's not like blizzard anti cheat system is any different from VAC

Blizzard anti cheat is really different from VAC.
And the question isn't really about technical and anticheat, but more about Activision/Blizzard lawsuit for cheat maker

Things are going to a higher level right now, seems like Activision is going for where it really hurts on cheat providers.

I don't think Blizzard doesn't have anything to do with the anti-cheat. It's like Destiny 2, everyone though that Blizzard would have something to do with the game. But it turn out that they only were there to sell the game through their client. It's still Treyarch and Activision doing the game and they are shit.

Apologies, yes the two are apparently very different in how they work from an analogous stand point. Here is a very interesting article on how Blizzard's Warden works: https://hackmag.com/uncategorized/deceiving-blizzard-warden/
Warden scans local memory stack for hash values against a database of known cheat programs, it doesn't seem to scan the local file system and registry for known application entries. obfuscation doesn't work because the hash is reported and will result in a ban and because of that I've been reading about false positives during Blizzard's last ban wave on Diablo 3, SC2 and Destiny 2 because players were using screen capture software that hooks on using the Device.EndScene () method. There are ways around it, but as raoniq pointed out Blizzard takes a harsher stance on providers these days. ROSBOT for Diablo 3 has been going for a while now and no action has been taken against them, I suppose the Diablo IP hasn't been making them any money.
