    My computer is certainly not a virtual machine yet I am getting this message?

    "Please do not run this application under a virtual machine"

    And no Hyper-V is not enabled.

    you have virtualisation for sure on in bios it must be off. You can check if you open taskmanager and on your cpu section it says if its on or not
